Oh monkey in the tree,

I hold a branch – descend, descend to me.

Oh monkey bring your uncles, aunts and brothers

Bring your granny, bring your mother

Oh monkey will you eat a banana

Climb aboard, We have your manna

Oh monkey come and play

Come now monkey, come today

Monkey, monkey, we shall not have strife

You did not mean anything

When you groped at my daughter

And pissed on my wife

Monkey dear monkey,

You’ve come by the dozens

Brought the whole family,

Even the cousins

Monkey my friend

It has been a slice

But the banana’s all gone

The visit was nice

Maybe some day

O mono o’mine

We’ll visit again

Some other time.
